Early drop offs & late pickups (Continued from previous page...)

If you know that you are to be late it may be preferable to have an authorized alternate person to pick up your child.

Absences

When your child is going to be absent due to illness, holidays or days off their will be no refunds or adjustments. A place has been reserved for each child that cannot be filled on a short time basis. Please parents, do not bring your child in sick with fever and tell me you gave the Tylenol or motrin. I cannot accept your child with fever, diarrhea, or vomiting, for the safety of the other children, myself, and my family. I will need a doctor's note stating that your child can come to daycare.

Bringing Things to Daycare

Please refrain from bringing potentially dangerous or disruptive toys to daycare, including but not limited to guns, swords, lasers etc.… I am not responsible for any missing toys or if a toy has been damaged. I would like for your child to bring in a special something from home for Show 'N Tell and planned activities. Your child may bring something from home to sleep with at nap time. Please label all items brought to daycare with your child's name.

You will need to maintain a full change of clean, weather appropriate, clothing in the child's cubbie (example: 2 pair of underwear, 2 pants, 2 shirts, socks, and maybe a extra pair of shoes). If your child is in pull ups or diapers you are responsible for supplying them. I will help with potty training. For the children that are in training please bring wipes for those poopy accidents. I will let you know in your daily note when your supply runs low.

You will also have to bring a blanket and pillow for nap time. All blankets and pillows need to be taken home on Friday and laundered and brought back on Monday. Soiled clothing with a note will be sent home to be cleaned and a new change of clothes should be brought back the next day. If your child does not have these supplies on a given day that I need them I will call you to either bring clothing for your child or to pick up your child. It is your responsibility to check your child's cubbie weekly.

You will in warmer weather need to keep a bathing suit in cubbie along with sun lotion. I will request certain other items throughout the year such as snow suits, boots and other winter attire. Please be sure to label everything. Please keep in mind if you forget these items this will prevent us from doing certain activities.
